At Burley in Wharfedale Methodist Church, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all, no matter your background or beliefs. Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage spiritual growth through worship, education, and outreach.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are a vibrant community that offers a range of activities and events, including weekly services, youth groups, and social events. Our goal is to provide a home for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, learn more about faith, and build meaningful relationships.

We care about God's world
In 2019, our church was awarded​ SILVER STATUS by Eco Church. An award scheme for churches in England and Wales who want to demonstrate that the gospel is good news for God’s earth.
This means that we aim to reduce waste, use eco-friendly cleaning materials, enable biodiversity in our gardens and more!​
