Who?
Shift is a project of the church, a way to make spirituality accessible to everyone. We value inclusivity and diversity. It is child-friendly and welcoming to people at every stage of faith (or none). At Shift you are among friends.
Where?
We meet at Burley in Wharfedale Methodist Church
What?
We meet for Breakfast and a talk on a relevant topic. After the talk you can choose whether to grab a cuppa or join in as the band plays Christian worship songs. Music and drama are an important part of Shift. They allow us to express ourselves and connect with the friends who join us.
When?
On the first and third Sunday of every month. Breakfast from 9:00am

Join us as we start our new series. How to be an everyday revolutionary. In this series we are taking a look what it looks like to be a true ambassador of God's Kingdom.

There will be 7 Sundays in the series as follows:-
06th September - Made to make a difference. To live as a true ambassador of God’s kingdom.God has called you to be present in the world without being absorbed by the world.
20th September - Why we are here. To live as a visible reflection of Jesus and point others to his kingdom in every aspect of your life.To faithfully represent Jesus to the world through truth and grace.
04th October - Harvest festival. Joint service Shift and 10.45, starting worship at 9.45
18th October - Citizens of another kingdom. To inspire you to approach politics with humility, compassion, and a deep commitment to honoring Jesus above any personal or partisan agendas
01st November - Live quietly: Creation - Fulfilling and Excellence Pursuing. God desires for you to live quietly, remarkably, and beautifully in your workplace and community by pursuing excellence and fulfilling your God-given purpose.
15th November - Live Quietly: Holiness-Reflecting, Redemption-Displaying, and Mission-Advancing. To develop a sense of purpose and joy in whatever form of work or activities you do, knowing that it can beautifully reflect God’s grace to others.
06th December - Testify loudly. You are called to not only live quietly but also testify loudly about God’s kingdom.To embrace a lifestyle in which you are willing to boldly stand for God’s truth.
20th December - Nativity - possible joint celebration with the 10.45 service.
