SCAM ALERT -
Please be aware an email scam is currently circulating within members of the congregation. A very convincing email from Tim has been dropping into peoples inboxes asking for you to buy gift cards as a thank you to fellow members. Please, please, please double check who the email is from, if it not from Tim's usual email address then do not respond. If you are unsure please do get in contact with me, I am happy to answer any questions you have on this and will help anyway I can. Thanks Laura

Lent Groups -
There will be no ecumenical groups in the village this year as in previous years, however we are invited to join with Circuit friends and others in groups led by Rev. Cameron Stirk.
There will be an evening group on Mondays at 7pm on Zoom (23rd February – 23rd March inclusive) and there will be an afternoon in-person group at Cornerstone Cafe, Menston on Tuesday afternoons at 2.00pm (please note earlier time) (24th February – 24th March inclusive).
The theme of the sessions will be: “Let go and be open….” Using the gospel readings for Lent we will think creatively about what God is saying to us for this Lent. If you have not tried a group before, we do
encourage you to give it a go! To join either of the groups let Cameron know on 01943 463258 or email thestirks@tiscali.co.uk (He will send the Zoom link.)

RightNow Media-
The church has taken a subscription to a fantastic resource to support both personal and group Bible reflection and study. Access is free to all members by following this link: https://app.rightnowmedia.org/join/bwmethodist
There is a support section at the foot of the Home page which has answers to lots of FAQ's but if you have any other queries/questions please contact Phil and Wendy Kershaw who will be happy to help you.
Little Ducklings -
We could do with a few more helpers for this community service on a Friday morning 9-11. The parents who attend are most appreciative of his group. If you could spare a couple of hours once a month or so, please have a word with Adrian or Pam to find out more. Thanks.
WELCOMING YOU HOME
The Methodist Church has a system of care for both its members and those who join us for worship, weekday groups and meetings. As a Church community, we believe that our care for one another is one of the main expressions of our faith and love for God and for others.
